I love the feather details, must have been a tough one, getting the swan in such a perfect angle, good job

I love the feather details, must have been a tough one, getting the swan in such a perfect angle, good job, ill be sure to bookmark your page.
EJWilkins: Thank you. It was one of those times when I wished I had a much better camera because I would have liked to go in much closer to the feathers alone, and capture the reflection of colour from the beak.

Hi Ell, I don't normally like animal shots of any description but I do like the crop you have adopted with this one, it's really unusual and takes the shot close to abstract. Like it. Mal
EJWilkins: Thanks Mal. smile A lot of my shots are of flora and fauna, I hope you like some more of them when they appear.

Nice Ellie! original angle!
EJWilkins: Thanks isapisa, it was quite easy to get close because the swan was so engrossed in preening

the colour in the beak brings it all to life
EJWilkins: Thanks, I do too and the way the bright colour is almost absorbed by some of the feathers close to it

Really nice ellie! Fantastic close-up! The EXIF is gone, was this a crop or a long lens? Either way it's great composition/cropping! Lovely.
