red leaves and red brick

I spotted these few Virginia Creeper leaves last Saturday, I thought they looked wonderful against the red brickwork.

Oh yes, Ellie, they DO look wonderful against the bricks. I can never get too much of these autumn colors!
EJWilkins: Hi Ginnie, thanks a million, I'm glad you think they look good too. smile
hey ellie,

terrific capture. i love the way this shot is framed. the contrast between the precise angles of the bricks and the curved nature of the leaves is simply perfect.
EJWilkins: Hi Nicole, your comment says a lot more than I ever thought, thanks. smile

I like this photo - good one. And I thought it would be snowing over there!
EJWilkins: Hi Louis, glad you like it. It may well be snowing in some parts of the UK but where we live is quite mild, luckily for me. Even so it's darned cold right now. A day or so of wind, heavy rain and clear skies at night have brought the leaves tumbling off the trees before I've had the chance to take many pictures of them in their glorious colours which have only appeared this last week.
Well done and very nice colortones here ! I like !
EJWilkins: Glad you like the shot Zebigleb smile
Beautiful, beautiful shot Ellie. Great autumn colours and lovely subject. Ellie does it again with a little help from Mother Nature!! Regards, Neil.
EJWilkins: Hi Neil, I'd be well and truly stumped living in a concrete jungle, I need Mother Nature's helping hand all too often ;-)
Ellie, seems that you have been cleaning the leaves to do the photography. That I shine and more marvellous color.
EJWilkins: Hi José-Angel, I agree that the leaves do look very shiny, but I promise I had nothing to do with it grin
fantastic shot,
like the tones and tight composition...
