nut eater

Taken outside St Nicholas Parish Church in Brockenhurst, this squirrel only stayed still long enough for me to press the shutter when it was safely hidden in the undergrowth.

I may not be online much between now and the New Year, we have visitors. I'll drop by when I can.

Best Wishes for a peaceful and happy Christmas.

Here in Atlanta people get out their pellet guns when they see a squirrel because they're such a pesk. But I have always thought of them as so cute. You've got a lovely capture here, Ellie!
Lol a very cute one smile
Hi Ellie, I am so glad he is not after MY nuts!! LOL. Great capture and as Louis says, amazingly slow shutter speed and so close if the exif shows a true focal length representation.(unlike mine, where the exif value must be multiplied by 4.73 to give true focal), if not, you would, I guess, have been at around 300mm. Lovely picture, very well done. Kindest regards, Neil.
