Snapped but without losing the appetite! ; -)
EJWilkins: Very punny wink
And now add yet another hat to the collection, Ellie! smile I also like the barest hint of the horses over the top and through the crack in the fence. You really had fun that day, didn't you!
EJWilkins: I'm getting worried Ginnie, maybe I've got 'something' about hats! I liked the peek at the ponies' ears in the background too, and that this chap appeared totally oblivious to them. And yes, I had fantastic fun that day. The results have kept me happily occupied for quite some time. Makes me worry a bit if I'm a 'happy snapper'. .. Must stop appearing worried! wink

The whole composition appeals to me. Clarity etc very good - like marybeth commented.

He seems to have nice clean eating habits as well, must be an englisman smile
EJWilkins: Thanks Louis. It's one I was quite pleased with, in terms of picture quality, although I wasn't too sure about the composition so you've helped settle my mind. I think he might have been hungry, not wanting to waste a scrap of the beefburger he was eating. wink
nice with the wooden background.
EJWilkins: Thanks Chantal, I thought the deep blue of his clothing looked good against the grey timber.

This is really nice El, Like so much of your work you always capture pin sharp detail. Mal
EJWilkins: Thanks Mal ... keep visiting, you say the nicest things! wink
Your'e people watching skills are good Ellie smile
EJWilkins: Really? I didn't think so, but then I don't take many pictures of people. Maybe I should do it more often. Thanks Chris smile
Pin sharp. I like the added layers feeling - the man - the fence - the horses.
EJWilkins: Thanks Aksel. I wasn't sure if it was too much, but if I had edited/cropped out the ponies I would also have lost the top of his hat and also the way he was ignoring the livestock in the pen by his side. I'm glad you like the way it turned out. smile
I hope it's not a horse butty he's eating, that would be a little heartless....
As ususal, Ellie, entertaining stuff.
EJWilkins: I knew, I absolutely knew somebody would say that! tongue

... and no, it isn't!

Thanks Andrew smile

My first reaction was to make an amusing remark about whether you were giving us an insight into your tste for men! Then I read all the comments and the eloquent Susi Croft has beaten me to it.

I'm very impressed with your observations from the event, the execution and the capabilities of the Z5.
EJWilkins: Hi Colin, and thank you. smile
Yes, it's a neat little camera and can take very good pictures within the right parameters.
Hi Ellie - As I've so much work I've a lot of late in visiting your blog but it is my sunday pleasure to see your posts of the week smile

Love this one, very funny and alive !
EJWilkins: Thank you Zeb, for taking the time to visit and leave comments. I truly appreciate it, I know all too well how long it can take to visit all the blogs and leave messages. smile
