Wonderful sky, Ellie. It's a beautiful painting!
EJWilkins: Thanks Kay
I can't wait until I'm there, love this Ellie, might be too much sky for some but not me, I'll see you in a couple of weeks.

EJWilkins: Can't guarantee something like this!
A lovely mellow yellow and a lovely simple composition. I like it very much.
EJWilkins: Thanks Jose smile
Really lovely with both solid clouds and wispy clouds.
EJWilkins: It was lovely, thanks smile

Nice picture, Ellie. The colours suggest the weather is still quite cool there.
EJWilkins: It is sstill cool, I'm not sure how you can tell from this picture.
Turner? smile This looks so much like something that would insprie an English landscape painter. Nice!
EJWilkins: There are a fair few artists round here, I wonder if this is why?
Lovely sky Ellie, the sky has always fascinated me. It rained here a bit during the weekend and we had clouds that made the view just awesome. Nice shot smile
EJWilkins: Thanks Thomas, the sky fascinates me too. I wish I could work out a weather forecast from the clouds as some people can.

very interesting colors here. i like the choice of foreground, simple and not distracting, but still interesting. good one, ellie.
EJWilkins: Thanks Alex, most of that area is heathland, so not many trees. I was lucky that one was in about he right place smile

Whenevr I see clouds like that... it always and always reminds me of chariots in the sky, like the cloud puffs were left in such a way after chariots went over it. Or it must be just me smile but I love the shot, especially the muted colours
EJWilkins: Now you mention it I can see the same sort of thing, no, it isn't just you wink
A non natural colour for a vast sky !
EJWilkins: It was unusual, sunsets here are usually pink.

Lovely, Ellie, even on Donica's laptop that is not "true." (I can hardly wait till I'm up on the Internet here in Amsterdam.) I am such a fan of SKY!
EJWilkins: Hope you can see that it's sort of yellow instead of the more usual pink or red wink Hope you get hooked up to the net soon.

Wow, you know, I love sunsets, this is very nice!
EJWilkins: I like them too, we get some really good ones here, we're lucky smile
Very pretty the picture of the dusk. You can take advantage of and take to your visitors to enjoy these dusks!
EJWilkins: Thank you Jose, sometimes visitors like to see pretty skies like this. smile

All the questions asked about the colours, but it does seem a bit strange. It must be one that the druids are having a cook-out in the forest.

Great capture and enjoy the visitors - if they are the in-laws I hope you have a great relationship with them!
EJWilkins: Druids in the New Forest? A fair bit of Wicca I think
Visitors are relatives wink

Hi Ellie. I like this shot! I like the tree in silhouette and the yellows of the sky -- it's different since normally you see reds and blues and it really gives that 'cine' feel to it almost. cool shot.
EJWilkins: I thought it was really unusual too, not colours we often see. Thanks Iain
I love sky pictures. This is very unique and different and I really love it.
EJWilkins: I haven't seen one of this colour very often, more usually pink or red. THis one was quite special.

Why cool? The colours in the sky are not warm colours...they speak to me of a sun still struggling to stoke its spring vigours.

Subliminally, you are adding to the feeling with your unusual sstuttering, like teeth ccchattering as you stand in the chill air to capture this image for your appreciative Shutterchance audience. [grin]
This is a lovely capture..
Very nice work on the colors here : Bravo !!
I like this yellow light. And your picture of flowers are interesting, too!

It seems a beautiful place, this New Forest.
