photoblog image Blowing in the wind

Blowing in the wind

These grasses were growing on the top of an embankment, they were being bent over by a strong wind. The picture was taken at the beginning of January on very dark, dull day.

I did try the image in mono, but it didn't seem to work.

Very minimalist image, Ellie.
Tallgrass #1 says "What about we slip into the local for a pint of dark on the way home?"
Tallgrass #2 replies "Aahh...can't tonight matey...I'm a bit rooted tonight".
They must be having a conversation...don't you think?

Simple and effective indeed. I like Ray's story of the rooted grass.

It's totally my kind of pic, Ellie, because of the sky. It speaks to me, while the grasses speak to Ray! grin
