Are you looking at me?

Taken on Sunday in between heavy rain showers this little Westie and chum were outside a pub, but only just, while their owner was having a conversation and sheltering from the awful weather.

I knelt down, camera in hand, and was lucky enough to catch this expression, which I thought was perfect.

very inquisitive, and perhaps a little bemused by your antics at his level.
Nice dog portrait, Ellie.

I think the dog in the background makes the shot. I can almost hear it thinking 'There she goes again, playing with complete strangers... Nothing good will come of this!'
My goodness, that is precious! What a curious and friendly little face.
Perfect, indeed.They are just adoeable!

I love it. He is thinking and I bet I'm not even going to earn a treat from this. Perfectly timed for me as
a friend breeds Westies and I'm having a little female from the next litter due at Christmas.

Ha Ellie. I reckon I've got these two on one of my images. They just love being photographed and always seem to be in twos. I might send you it privately as I wasn't thinking of posting it. richard.

lol Martin...I agree with his statement and see the look of disapproval on the dog in the backgrounds face too.

You've captured the character of this duo perfectly, Ellie!

Imagine this woman coming from the pub, kneeling down and pointing her glass (dog doesn't know its a camera) at it. Shall I sniff, shall I take a sip?

Perfect capture of the expression.
I think all has been said, what a great shot, well captured
Nice photo Ellie, he was probably asking for a warm blanket and dry cote.

Lol at martin too! And I agree with him! This has a real awwwwh wow factor!

I know it crops into the main character slightly but have you considered taking a slice off the left to make a square crop and setting this adorable face dead centre! I think it might work.

youre puppies are georgeous! Could you please add my link to youre website.Much appreciated
EJWilkins: Thanks for leaving such a nice comment about this picture. smile

The only links I maintain within my profile are to photographic information sites with which I'm associated in some way or other, so a specific link to your site wouldn't really fit in. I'm sure that anybody wishing to know about your dog Candi or the Cavalier King Charles breed will be happy enough to follow the link from your comment here. smile
Good luck with your site.
