Nice shot Ellie, beautiful colours.
EJWilkins: The light was magical - it was very cold, some slight haze from the frost evaporating from where the sun had hit it and also the light of the new sun.

Ohhhhh. I'm such a lover of sheep, Ellie (must be my preacher's-home upbringing). This is a golden, priceless capture.
EJWilkins: I hope you'll enjoy the pictures that are queued until next Monday Ginnie - they're all of sheep. You'll see the light change too, as I change position and the sun rises higher in the sky. smile

I like the wide crop that gives the little sheep a place to go.
EJWilkins: I've experimented a bit with this group of pictures, I'd appreciate an honest opinion - if you have time to look at them all. The sheep ones run through to next Monday

Beautiful toning. Sunrise and sunset give such great light!
EJWilkins: Absolutely, although I've never been much of a morning person, this gives a good reason to be out of the house early. Thanks Helen
Nice mood and wonderful light Ellie.
EJWilkins: I'll be interested to know what you think of the others Ian, if you have time to visit during up to next Monday smile

EJWilkins: I don't usually do early mornings, so this was a whole new experience for me. The light was wonderful, maybe I'll try it again some time. Thanks smile

Great shot Ellie love the lightingsmile
The lambs are so cutesmile
EJWilkins: They've grown quite a bit since I first saw them a couple of weeks ago, but are still adorable. The lighting was wonderful - early sun + frost + slight heat haze and mist must be a good combination. Never really tried it before.

Tiny new lives in a big, big world, staying close to Mum cos she knows best. Lovely light. So full of freshness and optimism.

Have a lovely break Ellie.
EJWilkins: Not sure how much of a 'break' it will be, mostly optimism on my part at the moment wink
I had a lovely time photographing these sheep, I'd been keeping an eye out for them to be close enough to the fence and struck lucky. Hope you like the others too - and I will reply to your other message, promise.

EJWilkins: The frosts and cold weather do seem to have some benefits after all, although in all honestly I'd rather be somewhere warmer. Thank you. smile
