photoblog image At the Allotment - January

At the Allotment - January

A Wiggle of Pots

This just caught my eye and has ended up in this little sub-group of pictures of "Allotment Art"
.....

This series of pictures were taken at local Allotments, which is land owned by the council that can be rented for growing plants (fruit/vegetables/flowers) for use in the home. The land is separated into measured strips, rather like the mediaeval field systems.

I do not have an allotment. I am grateful for the tenants who didn't mind me taking a few pictures.

From the thumb I thought you had captured a large ringed worm, Ellie.

When I saw the full size image it confirmed you had.

Well done! Love it!

Beautifully arranged whoever left this here has an artist's eye! Well done for capturing it so well. I too thought it was a giant worm from the thumbnail.

I thought it was a worm in the thumb ...Oh I yearn for the old clay pots.

It could have been a huge worm Ellie! Fine capture.
Now this is good....I certainly would have arranged them like this for the picture Ellie...This is allotment art..Well spotted.
I also thought it was a worm Ellie but it isn't. What it is is another part of the whole allotment scenario you have really captured so well.
Very nicely spotted Ellie
Una foto muy especial. Provoca un efecto diferente...
Muy bien vista.
It looked like a exotic coloured catapiller at first, but I just love your title, A wiggle of Pots. Just perfect.

Are you working together with Richard Trim?
A lovely pic, the wiggle of pots in the midst of all the green and autum leaves look like a rainworm- it is a pity that the plastic pots have pushed away the clay pots (Tontöpfe)!

This is a great one. On the thumbnail I thought it would be some millipede.
