This is a great shot but why is it upside down
EJWilkins: It's upside down because I thought it would look more interesting, and less of a run of the mill reflection wink
I like it upside down....

Did you hold the camera like that, or was it part of an elaborate setup??

ok, ok....

It's a cool perspective

Cheers

Rob
EJWilkins: I too the picture looking towards the far side of the lake, so this picture is just flipped upside down - absolutely no elaborate setup wink

Cool work, Ellie.
Easy to look at when I have a laptop computer, too.
EJWilkins: That's cheating Ray! tongue
Wow! Ellie. Beautiful scenery that you find with bright colors. I love all the colors of the landscape and its brilliant reflection. Another photo had been cut through the base of the bank and look like a painting!
EJWilkins: Exbury is a beautiful place to visit. That day I was lucky because at times the sky was a stunning dark blue
A wonderful up side down reflection shot Ellie!
EJWilkins: Pleased you like it Richard

This is brilliantly confusing! The reflection is so clear it looks almost real. I like pictures that make you think.
Ingrid
EJWilkins: It was intended as a very quick "double take" picture, just a teeny moment of thought before the penny dropped. Looks as if it worked just fine smile

Fantastic reflections - perfect treatment too. I always like a slice of reality in these shots.
EJWilkins: I almost cropped so that just the extreme right hand corner of the "real" view was visible, but decided it would be a touch too confusing
I had look at this a few times...which must have been the intention...which worked well Ellie. These shots could make a good series.
EJWilkins: That was the intention Ron, a moment's hesitation and thought, that's all. Glad it worked smile
Oh my COD, what a lovely PLAICE this is, and what a view the Fish have.
EJWilkins: And not a SOLE in sight! wink

Good work Ellie,I like the colours
EJWilkins: The sky, at times, was wonderful on the day we visited the gardens, we were lucky
This really works well Ellie. A lovely place and it took me a few seconds to realise it was the reflection upside down.
EJWilkins: Glad it didn't take longer than a few seconds

amazing how still the water was that day..a beautiful day beautifully reflected in both the water and your capture, Ellie.
EJWilkins: This was the best of several pictures, the wind made too many ripples on some of the others.
Whoa! Very Cool Shot. I like what you've done. Thought it was my web connection taking it's time to download at first smile
EJWilkins: Made you think wink

Beautiful use of reflections.
EJWilkins: Thanks Laurie, sometime nature does a brilliant job all on its' own, then we have to make it a bit more unusual or special. Glad this worked for you
I'm fan ! Nice composition.
EJWilkins: Pleased to hear it Fabrice
Love it!
EJWilkins: Phew, that's good Bill, thanks smile

By the way, you'd love Exbury too, I think it's very much your sort of place

Great idea to put it so the reflection is the main player.

Very good: I love this sort of thing!
Now that's a cracking reflection Ellie smile
Works really well- definitely a jolt when one first sees this.
great shot - I love the upside down reflection. The ripple level is spot on, just enough to make it mysterious smile
Nice one! Great pp job - very creative!
