Osteospermum

This week I am ...

... playing around with a new lens.

Focussing on the petals to the back of the flower, which I think makes them glow.

Just what I'm working on in painting - achieving the glow.
Nice light and DOF. Congratulations, you have a beautiful gallery.
I had this camera, but my macro was a 50mm lens (4 months ago I sold my 2 Olympus and all lenses - E30, E500, 7/14mm, 50/200mm, 50mm, 12/60mm and 14/54).
this is one of your best... hooray for new lenses!

I've actually been thinking about getting a macro lens, too, Ellie, so I'm really paying attention to what you're doing. smile

Spidey goo to hold the flower steady and anchored against the border smile I like this one. And now that armando has listed E30 and E500 in the same row, I am sure smile
Having a good play and getting very nice results Ellie.

Very special, Ellie. You are right about the glow. I hope you don't mind if I suggest something that would improve this still further? I'd clone out that filament of the spider's web. Good work with the new lens.
