A definite juxtaposition of styles Ellie, we have one of these mime artists in Southport every so often, a touch strange I think.
EJWilkins: They're really good aren't they, but I do think this one could have picked his spot with a bit more care

Those skinny gals are laughing at him...how rude!

Fabulous composition, here, Ellie.
EJWilkins: I spotted it, then had to wait a few minutes for the advert to scroll round again so I could take this picture

It's always good to know what's behind you, Ellie...if you're a mime! smile I love the juxtaposition!
EJWilkins: It's quite bizarre really, isn't it
Well spotted. I love these human "statues"
EJWilkins: I do too, and I don't know how this one managed to hold his hand so still for so long. If I'd tried it for more than a minute or so my arm would have been aching

Oh this is great Ellie: the girls on the poster make it wonderfully odd
EJWilkins: I liked the way the one inthe green coat appeared to be looking over his shoulder - it is "wonderfully odd"

That's one of the important things when setting up a onemanshow ;-) Well spotted Ellie!
EJWilkins: Too true Frida
Superb capture Ellie. These mimes are fascinating aren't they?
EJWilkins: Yes, they are fascinating Richard
Nothing worse than seeing a statue move beside you. Good one Ellie
EJWilkins: You're absolutely right Ron, they make me jump!

EJWilkins: I don't think I was the only one who noticed, especially after people spotted me with my camera

Very well composed Ellie
An excellent use of juxtaposition.
This is a good contrast Ellie, we saw a mime artist dressed as Charlie Chaplin a few years back in Brussels, he was superb.
cool shot!

I'm assuming this guy is a "statue". Sounds like we're ready for the Christmas pantomime season - "BEHIND YOU!"
