Great landscape I have trying to work out what the wild life is on lake edge
EJWilkins: It's a line of deer, not sure which breed though because they were too far away
Well captured, Ellie. This is not the normal view you see of Corfe Castle, and it is really nice to see it in the context of the landscape. Lovely foreground detail, too. (:o)
Great shot, Cromwell did do some damage up and down the country

A beautiful autumn day, calling for a comfortable chair, a glass of chilled white wine and a pair of binoculars.

That's a stunning shot of Corfe Castle Ellie: I Like the geese all lined up too
EJWilkins: Err, them's actually four legged geese. Picture taken with a long zoom, which makes them look a bit peculiar.

Yes, this is an unusual view of Corfe Castle as far as I remember it - I like very much the misty autumnal atmosphere on this day and the hord/flock of wild geese lined up along the shore of the lake.
I have not seen this view of CC before. Lovely photopgraph Ellie.
Great view of the castle Ellie, I love the colours in the foreground smile

A finely composed landscape - all perfectly balanced - and lovely subtle colours. the row of deer (they actually look like a row of ostriches!) are a brilliant touch.
Past it many a time in my youth Ellie..Nicely captured.
He was a miserable old git that Cromwell

I reckon this looks better without the sky

One of my favourite castles Ellie, perhaps because of the railway running by. Good to see a different angle on it as well.
